Why You Will Love This Recipe
I’ll tell you why I love this recipe. It was something new. After years of making the same thing over and over again, I wanted to try something new. It didn’t take too long to come up with this. I love a Cuban, and I love sliders.
Roll-cutting the pork tenderloin was how I wanted to make mine a bit different than the standard stack of pork, ham, and cheese. This way it all gets cooked together and melded into a beautiful slice of heaven.
Another more practical reason for making this recipe is that the pork tenderloin is not an expensive piece of meat. You can whip these up for a family treat or as a game-day banger!
And it tastes amazing, which is reason enough to give this recipe a whirl.

Ingredients Needed
This recipe does require that the Grilled Cuban Pork Tenderloin has already been cooked.
Now, you can go right from the grill to this step OR you can refrigerate the tenderloins overnight and slice the next day.
It will be easier to cut and is actually a great way to prep for a ‘next day’ meal. The rest of the ingredients you probably already have. While the roulade already has cheese in it, I say add more. I like my sliders cheesy!
How To Make Grilled Pork Tenderloin Cuban Sliders
This dish comes together so fast. It really is tons of fun to make and the effort-to-deliciousness ratio is perfect. Easy to make, quick to the table, super tasty! Banger!
Slice the slider rolls in half lengthways and lay them out.
Apply the mustard on both the top and the bottom. Place the bottom part of the rolls on a foil-lined baking sheet then place the thinly sliced pork tenderloin roulade on the bottom sides of the bun
Tips
Use whatever mustard is your favorite. For this recipe, we’re using French’s yellow mustard. Dijon mustard would be a good option as well.
I found that two tablespoons on each side covered the rolls pretty well, but you can add more or reduce to your particular tastes.
Use your preferred Hawaiian roll you like, sweet or savory. We opted for savory.
Variations
Add spicy mustard or some pickled jalapenos for some heat.
Adding different flavored hams, such as sweet, smoky, or peppered can mix up the flavors pretty nicely.
For a more savory twist, add some minced garlic to the melted butter.
Using bread and butter pickles instead of dill will give you a sweeter version of this slider.
FAQ’s
Yes. Prepare them up to the point of putting them into the oven. Cover with foil and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. When ready, follow the baking instructions, adding 5 minutes to the covered bake time.
Sure, while Swiss cheese is traditional to Cuban sandwiches, feel free to use whichever cheese you like.
Chips and dip, as mentioned before is my go-to. But a potato salad or a fresh green salad would make a great option as well.
