FAQ

Can I use Yogurt instead of Sour Cream?

Yes, but it will yield a different result. We don’t enjoy an all sour cream dip (or yogurt), it’s a little too tangy for my family. So we had mayonnaise to help cut that tanginess.

How Long Is Sour Cream Dip Good For?

This chip dip will last in the refrigerator, covered tightly for 5 to 7 days.

How Long Can Sour Cream Dip Sit Out?

It’s recommended that sour cream and mayonnaise-based dips sit out no longer than two hours. Try placing the dip bowl in a slightly larger bowl filled with ice if it needs to be out for an extended period of time. Replacing the ice as needed.
