Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

Sliders

  • 12 savory slider rolls such as King's Hawaiian Savory Slider Rolls
  • 2 lbs pulled pork
  • 1 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup prepared coleslaw
  • 12 dill pickle chips

Butter Topping

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9x13-inch baking dish or on a baking sheet.

  • If using leftover pulled pork, warm it just enough to take the chill off in the microwave or in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Place the pulled pork in a large bowl, add the barbecue sauce, and toss until evenly coated.

  • Spread the pulled pork evenly over the bottom half of the slider rolls. Place the tops back on the sliders.
  • Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  • While the sliders bake, stir together the melted butter and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Remove the foil, brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls, and sprinkle with freshly cracked black pepper.

  • Return the sliders to the oven, uncovered, and bake for 5 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden.
  • Remove the tops, add the coleslaw and dill pickle chips, replace the tops, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Leftover smoked pulled pork works perfectly in this recipe.
  • Tossing the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce before baking helps keep the meat warm and evenly coated.
