- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons tangerine zest (about 3 tangerines)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mace
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
In an air-tight container mix the tangerine zest with the brown sugar. Cover and let sit at least 12 hours up to overnight.

In a medium-size bowl add the tangerine brown sugar and spices. Whisk together and store in an air-tight jar.

To Prepare Spiced Apple Cider
1 cup apple cider1-2 teaspoons spice mix (depending on your taste)Heat the apple cider until hot. Stir in 1 - 2 teaspoons of spice mix and stir until dissolved. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
This makes 2 cups. Which breaks down into 96 teaspoons. Calories will depend on how much you use per cup of beverage and the type of beverage. For the nutritional label, I used 2 teaspoons of mix only. Type of beverage NOT INCLUDED in the nutritional facts.
Storing - Store in air-tight containers or jars for up to 1 month.
