Notes

Leftover Monte Cristo Sliders?
Allow the sliders to cool to room temperature before attempting to store them. This prevents condensation from forming, which can make the buns soggy.
Place the sliders in an airtight container or wrap them tightly with aluminum foil or plastic wrap to prevent them from drying out.
Store the wrapped or contained sliders in the refrigerator. When stored properly, they should retain their quality for about 3-4 days.
When ready to enjoy again, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the sliders on a baking sheet and heat for about 10-15 minutes or until they are warmed through and the cheese is melty. For a quicker option, you can use a microwave, but the oven method will better preserve the texture of the buns.
Serve with a fresh sprinkle of powdered sugar and a side of berry jam to recreate the original serving experience.
