Ingredients

  • 16 oz Velveeta Cheese Queso Blanco version recommended, but regular works well too
  • 8 oz Breakfast Sausage spicy version for extra heat, if preferred
  • 10 oz Rotel spicy version optional

Instructions

  • In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat until browned. For added flavor, let the sausage form a crust before breaking it into smaller pieces.

  • Cut the Velveeta cheese into cubes and place in a microwave-safe container.
    16 oz Velveeta Cheese
  • Mix the Rotel with the cubed cheese. For a thicker dip, drain the Rotel; for a thinner consistency, use the liquid from the can.
    10 oz Rotel
  • After the sausage is cooked and drained on paper towels, add it to the container with the cheese and Rotel.
  • Place the container in the microwave. Heat in one-minute intervals, stirring between each, until the cheese is fully melted and the ingredients are well combined.
  • Once heated through and combined, serve the dip warm with your choice of tortilla chips, bread, or veggies.
