- 2 Cup Ketchup
- 1/4 Cup Bourbon
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar packed
- 1/4 Cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp Molasses not blackstrap
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Chipotle peppers in adobo add one more for a spicier kick
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Minced, or sub for same amount of garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper freshly ground
- 1/2 tsp Paprika Smoked or regular
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil then reduce heat.
Cook for 10-15 minutes, whisking often, until barbecue sauce is thick and bubbly.
Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
Use or store in air tight container.
