Servings: 16 ounces
Author: Don't Sweat The Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 5 oz blue cheese or Gorgonzola crumbles

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 of the cheese crumbles and buttermilk. Mash with a fork until combined and it resembles large curd cottage cheese.
1/3 cup buttermilk, 5 oz blue cheese or Gorgonzola crumbles
  • Add mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, salt, fresh ground black pepper and remaining blue cheese crumbles.
1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste, 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • Stir to well to combine.
  • Store in a tight sealing mason jar or other container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

If you don’t want chunks of cheese in the dressing, mash all of the blue cheese completely. Or you could throw all the ingredients in a food processor to thoroughly blend until creamy.
If it’s too thick for your liking add some more buttermilk to thin it out.
Storing - This dressing will last about one week in the refrigerator stored in an airtight container.
